| If you haven't been to my About Me page yet, then I'll tell you here that Paris, France is my true home away from home. The above picture was taken just outside the front door of the apartment, I stayed in during my visit to Paris in March of 2001. My gracious hosts, Hunter and John, made my trip very memorable. My first trip to Paris, with my friends Brian, Cassie, and Gina, was an amazing experience in and of itself. The 2nd time in Paris, with "locals" to show me around, the trip was like a "Welcome Home" visit to the City of Lights and Love. I got to see Napeleon's chateau, Fountain Bleu, located in the charming city of Avon. It was about a 40 minute train ride out to the countryside, and was a side of France that I didn't get to see on my first visit. I also made a trip out to Disneyland Paris for two days. This was my second time to the park...and as you can imagine, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. As I build up my new web site, I'll be sure to post pics here so you can share my trip with me. |

| On my second visit, I snapped some pictures with my new digital camera. Notre Dame was looking much better than the first visit...there was a lot of scaffolding the first time. The Louvre was in full bloom, and inside its courtyard, I made the fountain look like a lake. What would Paris be without a trip to La Tour Eiffel. From the top, the Trocadero looked tiny. The descent down the leg of the tower in the elevator was interesting as well. The base of the tower was surrounded by beauty, including a funny little shed of some kind. It was not open for public viewing. There was also a cute merry-go-round within the shadow of La Tour Eiffel. Along the river Seine, Brian and I posed for our picture with La Tour Eiffel, and a beautiful statue, in the background. You can see the apartment we stayed in, it's to the right in this photo. You could see La Tour Eiffel from the window in our room. Paris is dominated by apartment buildings. At Disneyland Paris, the beautiful Swiss Family Treehouse was surrounded in beauty, in the park's Adventureland area. My favorite attraction there is the Phantom Manor. |
