| The picture you see here was taken in March of 2000, when I visited California for the first time since moving to Michigan in October of 1996. It's a little dark, but I thought it was a good picture to open this page with, as it has my very best friends in it. Crouching down in front is my best friend Eric. From left to right, behind him, is my friend Colleen, my roommate's friend Scott, my good friend Brian, and my friend Gina, and my good friend Cassie. | In October of 1996, I moved to Michigan to start my five year relationship with Brian. We have since parted ways, in November of 2001, but we are still very close and I love him to death. On my first visit to Michigan, to meet Brian, in August of 1996, I took a picture of Brian kneeling by a fishing pond in Paris Park, Paris MI. Brian will always be a very important part of my life. |
| I met my friend Eric in April of 1993. He is my best friend, and we are still very close. On one of our many road trips, I snapped a picture of Eric on the stairs in a quaint shop in Newport Beach. My camera usually went with us on our outings, like this pic at the Cleveland National Forest, which is along Ortega Highway in California. We also liked to goof around for the camera when we hung out, evidenced here, just before we went out for the evening. What can I say, we made the most of it whenever we got together. |
| When I lived in California, I worked with someone who would become one of my best friends, her name is Cassie. We went to Paris together in April of 1999. Surprisingly, I don't have a lot of pictures of Cassie, but she is one of my dearest friends, and hopefully I'll have some new pics soon, to update her part of my web page. |
| While living in Michigan, I made to very good friends, Graham & Ben. Ben was dating a friend of Brian's when we met. We quickly became "girlfriends" and shared many good times together. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures of Ben, but he holds a very special place in my heart. He moved to Portland, Oregon in May of 2000, and I miss him terribly. Guess what? Ben came to visit in July of 2002! He brought his new man Jonny with him, we all had a great time! They stayed at my apartment the first weekend, and we were able to get out and do all the things we used to do when we terrorized Grand Rapids. The two weeks went quickly, but we had a great time! My friend Graham and I met and instantly became good friends. He has also moved away, but he is still in my heart...my baby Graham! When I was growing up in Brunswick, Ohio, one of my best friends was Laura. We used to play Go-Go's and just be crazy together. She just got married on July 20th of 2002, and I was glad I could be there for her. I also made a very good friend when I worked for Benteler Automotive...my good friend Curt. He's relocated to the east side of the state, but we keep in touch almost daily. "Woooo...my hair!" And last, but certainly not least, is my great friend Jimmy. We recently met, and he is from my home state (Ohio). He has been a great friend, and I look forward to us being life long friends. |
